Milan is an Italian city in the region of Lombardy. Milan was founded with the name Medhlan and was known for the Edict of Toleration signed in 313 AD which was giving to all citizens of the Roman Empire the freedom to follow whatever religion they wanted without discrimination and hunting, things that was happening  till this Edict.

Milan is a metropolitan area and a centre for business and finance, it has the 4^th largest GDPs in Europe. The Italian Stock Exchange is stationed in the city. Development of industries and trading is not a new thing in this city. Since the 12^th century it has begun manufacturing armors, and also silk trading has made its appearance. During the 16^th century, production of luxurious goods came to a rise, followed by the industrial revolution. Lifestyle and goods that represented one’s economic and social status became the trend, and it has never changed since. So today, fashion, clothing and design still remain a trend in Milan.
